4th of July & then some....

What a weekend... where did it go?????

I had the day off Friday. Which was unexpected and Very Nice!!! So I took advantage of it. Spent the majority of the day with Morgan. Started out with hair appointments. Those are always nice, love them! Then Morgan and I took off to Fort Wayne, she is in Mini 4-H and we needed to get moving on her projects. So, we went to Hobby Lobby to get scrapbook supplies. Then did some errands in CC and back home. When we got home we had to take pictures of her Flamingos for her Collections project. Fun times!!

Dinner that night was at Aunt Nelleen's and Uncle Lyle's. It was very nice. The kids had a Great time playing and the dinner was very tasty! Then we walked down to the end of their road to watch the fireworks, you could not ask for a better view!

Play-doh fun, Thanks Grandma! What a great idea!
Saturday was a busy day. Started by Breakfast at Loon Lake, one of my personal favorites. Then we headed to Fort Wayne to spend the rest of the day with Josh's family. The kids played outside, then there was a Dad's vs. Kid's kickball game. That was interesting!!! It may get better as the kids get older! ha! Then we headed to IPFW to wait on the fireworks there. It was a long wait, but the fireworks were AWESOME!!!

Kickball.....oops, Morgan missed the ball!

Church the next morning, then home for family rest day! It was much needed!!! Then off to my parents for dinner. That was Great!! Good food, good family, good times!!

It was a great weekend!!

So, this week is flying by. Morgan and I have finished 2 of 3 of her 4-H projects. Just need to frost a cookie and we are done! That brought back lots of memories. I may not of always enjoyed doing my projects when I was younger, but I enjoyed them this year!

Tonight we went to the fair grounds, the H-4 fair grounds as Caden calls them, and watch the Open Show Pig Show. Two of the girls I babysit for where showing pigs and I thought it was be fun to go check out. The kids enjoyed it and Josh learned a little about pigs. He was picking the winners in no time. Pretty good job for a Rookie! Then we headed to Kernel Colada's for Ice Cream Cones!!! Caden though, had to get Orange Popcorn!

Take Care, until next time!

Where to begin...

It has been awhile, not even sure where I left off. I am going to have to see what pictures I need to post!! ha!

Everyone is doing great around the Poling House! I think Caden is getting bigger. I asked him the other day if he grew and he said "yep, I ate and slept and then I growed!" So there you have it! He is getting bigger, straight from his mouth!

We just signed Morgan up for Cheer camp at the Y today. She is really excited about that. She has been leading cheers around the house for the past couple of days. Maybe she thinks she is going to be the teacher, who knows. But I am excited for her. We also signed her up for another year of dance. Next year she will be Tapping along with Poms again. Her teacher had nothing but good things to say about her!

Morgan at her dance recital at South Side High School.

Her class at the end of their routine. It was so cute & Morgan did a GREAT job!

Afterwards.... Jefferson Point for some yummy Cookie Dough ice cream from Cold Stone!

Cutie Caden & Josh.

Best Friends. Just ask them, they get along so well together! I love it!

So Morgan and I will be working on her mini 4-H projects the next couple of days. This should be interesting. I am looking forward to it. I think she is too, just doesn't really know what to expect.
